Upgrading the vSphere version
If you are using the official image template for the dedicated hypervisor, please follow the procedure below to migrate from vSphere 6.0 to vSphere 6.5 / 6.7.
1. Upgrade of vCenter Server 6.0
Before upgrading vSphere ESXi, you need to upgrade vCenter Server. The managed vSphere ESXi must be less than or equal to the version of vCenter Server (Management Server).
You can use our official image template, or you can download it directly from the Web site of VMware.

2. Deploy Dedicated Hypervisor
Deploy a new dedicated hypervisor for vSphere ESXi 6.5 / 6.7. * If you want to upgrade the existing vSphere ESXi, please download the ISO image from the above VMware download path.
3. Virtual machine migration
Stop and migrate the virtual machine on vSphere ESXi 6.0 on the newly deployed vSphere ESXi 6.5 / 6.7 hypervisor.
4. Remove the dedicated hypervisor for vSphere ESXi 6.0
We will remove the existing vSphere ESXi 6.0 dedicated hypervisor.
After the service ends, you will not be able to receive support. In addition, it is not recommended to continue using the product after VMware support ends. Please move to the successor version.
