Please be informed of the release of the new version and end of sales of current version of Managed Firewall/UTM/WAF in ECL2.0.

Release of the new version of Managed Firewall/UTM/WAF

We have released a new version of Managed Firewall/UTM/WAF (hereinafter referred to as “Version2”).

We call the version provided until 7 December 2020 as Version1. We ended the sales of Version1 on 7 December 2020.

Outline of Version2

・The functions provided by Version1 are available in Version2 as well. In addition, there is no change in the price.

・Please refer to the following for the function difference (additional functions, etc.) between Version1 and Version2.

End of support date for Version1

Version1 support ends on 31 December 2021.

Version upgrade operation

Client can upgrade the current version (Version1) with the version upgrade tool provided on the ECL2.0 portal. This upgrade operation causes an interruption of communication about 10 minutes per device. In case client uses HA configuration, it may take about 80 minutes depending on the settings.

Other notes

・Currently, device addition and plan change operations are stopped from the Version1 Order screen. If you need these changes, please purchase Version2 or upgrade the version.

・Version2 is not available in the FR region. If you want to use it, please use the services on regions where it is available.
