Hosted Security Version Upgrade for Enterprise Cloud 2.0


Thank you for using NTT Communications Enterprise Cloud(ECL)service.

We will upgrade the hosted security management server in Enterprise Cloud 2.0.

This section explains the function additions and changes associated with the version upgrade.

Function addition and change by version upgrade

①Application control function added

An application control feature is added that allows unapproved software to be blocked in the Managed Host-based Security Package.

【Additional function】

・User installs unwanted software

・Add of PHP page/Python script/Java application

・Unscheduled Automatic Updates

・If a zero-day ransomware change is detected, the computer can be locked down if necessary to block unauthorized software.

*This function is only added to the Package menu.

 

②Changing the communication destination URL   
The destination URL of the communication will be changed as follows.

Agent should be able to access Trend Micro public servers over the Internet at ports 80 and 443.

④Change of User interface

The User interface(UI) design of the operation screen changes.

There are no changes to the basic operation.

Management server support

■For customers who continue to use the Agent on the management server before upgrading

There is no customer service.

*The current Administration Server version is End of Service Life on September 30, 2020.

If you are running an older version of the Agent, note the following:.

・Stop of security function

・No support for security features

 

■For customers using Agent after version upgrade

Customers are responsible for upgrading the Agent.
