(5/7/2018 update)Red Hat Enterprise Linux repository server for update packages is changed


Thank you for using NTT Communications Enterprise Cloud (ECL) service. New repository server (new server) for Red Hat Enterprise Linux is available from April 11th, 2018(JST) in ECL1.0, and April 27th, 2018(JST) in ECL2.0.

[05/07/2018 Updated] Renewed version 6.5/6.7 public templates are available in all ECL1.0 data centers.

[04/27/2018 Updated] New server operation is started in ECL2.0 

End of support for current repository server (current server) will be scheduled. After that, it is impossible to execute yum update not only operating server but also new creating server from template in private catalog or image storage. So customer need to change OS settings before end of support. Server reboot is not necessary for this settings.

Extended update support (EUS) is provided in new server. Patch distribution is usually 6 months from released date, EUS enables customers to remain with the same minor release of Red Hat Enterprise Linux for up to approximately 24 months, allowing for extremely stable production environments for mission-critical applications.
