In the Failover function, is it possible to switch from primary to secondary manually via Akamai Portal?ECL2.0, Global Server Load Balance
Switch from primary to secondary manually is not available via Akamai Portal.
Confirming the status of report and alert is available.
When customer wants to switch traffic, please delete Health Check File which is described on order sheet. -
Is it possible to change configuration of Global Server Load Balance (Global Traffic Management) via Akamai Portal?ECL2.0, Global Server Load Balance
Configuration change of Global Server Load Balance (Global Traffic Management) is not available via Akamai Portal.
When customer wants to change configurations, please place order from "Change" on ECL Portal.

Does Server Global Load Balance (Global Traffic Management) requires some preparation on customer side?ECL2.0, Global Server Load Balance
Customer needs to prepare access FQDN which is able to CNAME configuration.
When NTTCom perform platform configuration, customer can use this service by configuring CNAME on customer DNS server.

AccessFQDN: www.example.com
Akamai FQDN: www.example.com.akadns.net -
Does Global Server Load Balance (Global Traffic Management) can configure a server except for ECL 2.0.ECL2.0, Global Server Load Balance
Yes. This service supports a server of any service providers.

How long Global Server Load Balance (Global Traffic Management) store the traffic report on Akamai Portal?ECL2.0, Global Server Load Balance
Please refer to the below information.
Domain report: 3 months
Property report: 7 days
Error report: 3 months -
Is it possible to switch from primary server to secondary server through portal?ECL2.0, Global Server Load Balance
No. It is not able to switch servers through portal.
If customer wants to perform failover test, please delete health check file on customer server.

When Alert mail will be sent to customer, what action is required?ECL2.0, Global Server Load Balance
Please refer to the "How to use Alert" on tutorial.
AS for Global Server Load Balance (Global Traffic Management), customer server is not supported. Please ask the vendor which provide customer server, if customer wants to confirm detailed information for server down.
