2.4.9.1. Syslogd default value¶
2.4.9.2. Syslogd setting items¶
The following items are required for syslodg settings.

Once the setting is made, this cannot be deleted. Please select [ Disable ] if you want to stop log transferring to your syslog server. |

Port | (half-width numeric) |
Enter a port number which will receive syslog on your syslog server. |

Select a Facility Name that is used for identifying log messages on your syslog server. |
2.4.9.3. Adding Syslogd¶
- Click Syslogd from the left side of the screen.
Select the blank object on the Syslogd screen on the right side of the screen and click [Edit].
- When selecting [ Enable ] at [ Status ], you can enter parameters.Enter the setting value and click [ Save ].For the details of the setting items, please refer to Setting Items : Syslogd .
Click [ Apply configuration ] to apply the settings to your device.
2.4.9.4. Syslogd Change (Edit)¶
- Click Syslogd from the left side of the screen.Select an edit target at the section of Syslogd shown at the right-side of the screen, and click the [ Edit ] button.Any deleting or copying is not available.The table below shows descriptions of each button used at Syslogd .

This button allows you to edit the Syslogd value which have already set.Syslog settings cannot be deleted. If you want to stop log transferring to your syslog server, please change the Status to [ Disable ] by clicking [ Edit ].
Click [ Apply configuration ] to apply the settings to your device.
Note
If Status is set to Disabled, objects will not be displayed. Please select a blank object and click the [Edit] button when making changes.
