2.4.3. Routing settings

Configure a static route on each device.
From the [Device] tab, select the device whose settings you want to change, and set the static route from [Config].

2.4.3.1. Default value

In the default settings, any routing for your network isn't made.
By default, any gateway have not been set up. So, please configure it to fit in your own network environment.

2.4.3.2. Routing setting items

The following items are required for routing settings.

(Auto-Assign)

The ID will be automatically assigned in creation order; this cannot be edit.

Destination IP xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx

Input the destination IP address in decimal notation.

Subnet Mask

xx
Input the destination subnet mask in decimal notation.
(For example, 255.255.255.0 shall be entered as 24.)

Gateway

xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx

Input this routing's gateway IP address in decimal notation.

Default Gateway

If you would like to set up a new default gateway, you need to firstly input {Destination IP 0.0.0.0] & [ Subnet Mask 0 ] to specify the Gatewaty address and an Interface.


2.4.3.3. Prohibited IP address

The following IP addresses cannot be used for interfaces, routes, objects, or lists.
When using any of the IP addresses below are used, operations may not performed properly.
  • 100.65.0.0/16
  • 100.66.0.0/15
  • 100.68.0.0/14
  • 100.72.0.0/14
  • 100.76.0.0/15
  • 100.78.0.0/16
  • 100.80.0.0/13
  • 100.88.0.0/15
  • 100.91.0.0/16
  • 100.92.0.0/14
  • 100.126.0.0/15

2.4.3.4. Adding Routing

  1. Click Routing from the left side of the screen.
    Networking ‣ Routing

    Click [ Add ] from the Routing section shown at the right-side of the screen.

    Click Add


  1. Enter the setting value and click [ Save ].
    For the details of the setting items, please refer to Routing : Setting Items .

  1. Click [ Apply configuration ] to apply the settings to your device.

2.4.3.5. Routing Change: (Edit / Duplicate / Remove)

  1. Click Routing from the left side of the screen.
    Networking ‣ Routing

    Select an edit target line at the section of Routing shown at the right-side of the screen, and click the relevant action button.

    Click Change


    The table below shows descriptions of each button used at Routing .

    Button

    Description

    Edit

    This button allows you to edit the Routing value which have already set.

    Dupulicate

    This button allows you to copy the existing Routing and open the object setting screen which contains the same values.
    It will be useful to define another Routing with similar values.
    ID must be changed.

    Delete

    This button allows you to delete a Routing .


    For deleting an item, a confirmation message will be shown. Click [ OK ] to delete.

  1. Click [ Apply configuration ] to apply the settings to your device.
