Web protection profile setting items

The following items are required for creating a web protection profile.

Note

  • If making X-Forwarded-For (XXF) valid, add the client's IP address that has been sent to the device to HTTP header's XFF field. If the original HTTP header doesn't have XFF field, a field will be added too.

  • If making XXF invalid (unchecking the box), neither XFF field or the client's IP address that has been sent to the device connecting with HTTP header's XFF field is added.

  • If making IP Reputation function valid, the information registered into its own reputation DB are looked up and connections made from registered IP addresses will be detected.
