Address Group Settings

Following describe the Address Group settings to be utilized at a Firewall Policy.
When you will set up multiple Address Objects to a single firewall policy, you need to set up a Address Group.

Address Group Default Value

By default, Address Group has not been set up, Therefore, you need to set up this depending on your environment.

The Setting Items For Address Group

Following are setting items for address group as below:

Group Name

(Half-width alphabets and half-width numbers)

You need to fill in a name of Address Group.
The following signals and two-byte characters, such as Japanese are unavailable.
< > ( ) # ' " Space (blank)

Associated Interface

[ Port 4- Port 10 ]

Select the interface to be related to this address group.

Member

(Address Object)

Select a Group member from among the address object related to your selected Associated Inetrface.

Comment

(Half-width alphabets and half-width numbers)

Fill in any comments, if desired.
Fill in at maximum 225 words into the comment field .You can NOT use the two-byte characters such as Japanese.


Address Group Addition.

  1. Click Address Group at the left-side Object screen.
    Object ‣ Address ‣ Address Group

    Click [ Add ] at Address Group of the right-side screen.

    Click Add


  1. Click [ Save ] after your inputting the setting value.
    Input The Setting Items : Address Group to the setting value.

    Save Object


  1. Apply configuration to the device by clicking [Save].

    Save Config


Note

  • Please be sure to save the object [Save changes] before creating the firewall policy.



Address Group Change : [ Edit / Duplicate / Remove ]

  1. Click Address Group at the left-side Object screen.
    Object ‣ Address ‣ Address Group

    Select the target changed change at the right-side of Address Group screen, then clikc either button which you intend to operate.

    Click Change


    Following describes respective buttons of Address Group .

    Edit

    Modify the value at Address Group that has already been set.

    Duplicate

    After duplicating the existing Address Group , the object setting screen will open with a same value.
    Make sure to change Group Name .
    This is useful for you to define the another Address Group with the same value.

    Remove

    Delete your selected Address Group .


    When you change Address Group , select the target Address Object , and click [ Edit ].

    Change Members


    When your deleting, the confirmation message will display as shown below. Please click [OK] to finally execute its deletion.

    Confirm Delete Object

    NOTE: You can NOT remove any object, which has been utilizing at a Firewall Policy.


  1. Apply configuration to the device by clicking [Save].

    Save Config

  • Please be sure to save the object [Save changes] before creating the firewall policy.
