Configuring Static Routes allows you to configure a static route for your Managed Load Balancer.

Add static route

  • From the control panel, select Cloud / Server Local Network → Managed Load Balancer.

  • The Managed Load Balancers list screen is displayed, select the Managed Load Balancer to which you want to add a static route.

staticroute_add_1
  • Open the "Static Routes" tab and click "Add Static Route".

staticroute_add_2
  • Enter the required fields to add a static route and click "Add Static Route".

IPv4 address format

Note

  • You cannot specify a destination CIDR address that is the same as the destination CIDR address of another Static Route that already exists.

  • The next hop IP address must be included in the CIDR of one of the subnets associated with the logical network to which the load balancer instance is connected.

  • As the next hop IP address, you cannot specify the network address or broadcast address of the subnet associated with the logical network to which the load balancer instance is connected.

  • Confirm that the config status of the static route is "CREATE_STAGED".

staticroute_add_3
  • Execute "Apply Load Balancer Settings" to complete the addition of static routes.

Note

  • You can apply the load balancer settings together with other setting items.

Display the details of static route

  • In the Managed Load Balancer list screen, click the resource name of the Managed Load Balancer whose static route details you want to check.

  • Open the "Static Routes" tab and click the resource name of the static route for more information.

staticroute_detail_1
  • The information that can be confirmed on the details screen of Managed Load Balancer is as follows.

・”ERROR”:The latest operation processing failed, but since it has been rolled back normally, it is possible to operate the resource.

CIDR address

You can see the CIDR address of the static route.

Next hop IP address

You can see the next hop IP address of the static route.

Edit static route

  • In the Managed Load Balancer list screen, click the resource name of the Managed Load Balancer whose static route you want to edit.

  • Open the "Static Routes" tab and click "Edit Static Route" from the Actions pull-down for the static route you want to edit.
