19.1.1. Procedure Guide for the order

This section describes the outline method of application to use Veeam License Service. There are three types of application as follows.

New / Add New When you would like to apply new license. Issue

Change Correct Application When you correct your application contents and applying again. Issue (*1)
  Change Setting Sheet When you change the customer information in the Setting Sheet, for example Email Address. Not Issue
Delete Total Termination When you would like to terminate all of your license / licenses in the relevant tenant. Not Issue
  Partial Termination When you would like to terminate part of your licenses in the relevant tenant. Issue (*1)

Note

(*1) When the category is not “New”, please update from the License File currently in use to the newly issued License File.

Warning

Until you complete or cancel your application procedure, you cannot change or terminate same application. For example, you cannot change or terminate your license when your order is in the Change procedure (this application status is “Change Order Under Review”, “Change Order Processing”). Please note that even if you execute, it will be rejected.

19.1.1.1. New / Add Flow

Here are the descriptions of “New / Add” flow.

You need to fill out the Setting sheet in advance of new or additional application. After you fill out the Setting Sheet, please apply new or additional application. After your applying, we will confirm the contents of your application (this status is “Under Review”). And if there is no incompleteness of the content, we will start procedure of issuing license key (this status is “Add Order Processing”).
When ready to issue the License File (this status is “Active”), you can start using the Veeam license by downloading the License File and Service Starting Notification from the main menu of Veeam license.

Note

It will take at least 10 business days to issue “Service Starting Notification”.
When you fill in the Requested Service Start date, please confirm this number of days and then order.
After we confirm your application contents, we will make the status “Send Back” when there is incompleteness. In this case, please correct your application contents and apply again by “Change” method. And it will take at least another 10 business days after accepting the modification, so we recommend that you should have enough time to apply.

Warning

Please note that after 15 days have elapsed with no change in “Send Back” status, the status will be automatically processed as “Deleted”.

19.1.1.2. Change Flow

Here are the descriptions of “Change” flow.

You can correct or change your application by “Change” method, when your application is rejected by incompleteness of content at “New / Add” flow, or when you would like to change your contact information after your subscription start.

After your applying, we will confirm your application contents (this status is “Change Order Under Review”). And if there is no incompleteness of the content, we will start procedure of issuing license key or changing license information (this status is “Change Order Processing”).
When the changing procedure is complete (this status is “Active”), you can confirm it by downloading “Service Starting Notification” from the main menu of Veeam license. (When issuing updated license, we will provide new license file.)

After we confirm the contents of application, if there is any incompleteness, we will make the status “Change Order Send Back”. In this case, please correct your application contents and apply again by “Change” method . And note that it will take at least another 10 business days after accepting the modification.

Warning

Please note that after 15 days have elapsed with no change in “Change Order Send Back” status, automatically the status will be processed as “Active”, or automatically the status will be processed as “Deleted” when your subscription is not started.

19.1.1.3. Delete Flow

Here are the descriptions of “Delete” Flow.

You can terminate your subscription by “Delete” method.

After your applying, we will confirm the contents of application (this status is “Delete Order Under Review”). And if there is no incompleteness of content, we will start procedure of terminating license key (this status is “Delete Order Processing”).
When the termination procedure is complete (this status is “Deleted”), you can confirm it by downloading “Service Termination Notification” from the main menu of Veeam license. (If your application is partial termination, we will issue the updated License File.)

When you fill in the Requested Service Termination date, please confirm this number of days and then order.
After we confirm the contents of application, if there is any incompleteness, we will make the status “Active”. In this case, please correct your application contents and apply again by “Delete” method. And note that it will take at least another 10 business days after accepting the modification.

Warning

Please note that if your application date of “Delete” is less than 10 business days from the end of the month, your subscription will be terminated at the following month.
