13.2. New and Additional Subscription for SAP HANA Set

The contents here explain how to make a new and/or an additional subscription order for the SAP HANA Set offered by Enterprise Cloud 2.0 .

13.2.1. Accessing to the SAP HANA Set menu

Click [ Middleware ].

13.2.2. Placing new/additional subscription order for SAP HANA Set

Click [ Add Application ].

If you want to place a new order, click [ Add Application ].
If you want to restart with the saved data which you have entered, click [ Edit ].
If you want to delete the saved data which you have entered, click [ Delete ].

For the example here, click [ Add Application ].

Fill in the [ Application Information ] section.

For the Requested Service Start Date, please enter a day which is more than five business days away from your Application Date.
Delivery date will be five business days later than the day when we receive your subscription order and confirm there is no incompleteness.

Then, fill in the [ Tenant Access Information ] section.

Enter your Tenant Information, Login ID and Password that Service Provider will use for configuring your SAP HANA Set.
Please make sure to grant access authorities relating to the login ID to Service Provider so that the company can browse and edit the Enterprise Cloud2.0 and access your tenants.

Enter the business portal password with pairs of an alphabet and a number as the picture below shows.

Fill in the [ Baremetal Server Setting Information ] section.

Enter Baremetal Server’s Flavor, Image Name and Logical Network information.
For Logical Network Port, enter two segments for Data Plane at most and one segment for Storage Plane.
The same Logical Network as that of Common Function Gateways (common_function_gw_access) is not available to be specified.
Available segment type here is vlan only.
Only when your HA configuration is created with two HANA servers, selections for Zone/Group are available.

Then, fill in the [ File Storage Setting Information ] section.

Enter the File Storage’s Virtual Storage Name, IP Address, Volume Name and Volume Size.
A Virtual Storage can accept one Logical Network only.
If you utilize multiple SAP HANA Sets for a tenant, both of the following methods are acceptable: 1) prepare another virtual storage segment for a new virtual storage, and 2) add a new volume for the same virtual storage.

Move to the [ OS Setting Information ] section and fill in necessary information.

Enter the required information about the OS installing on Baremetal Server; such as Host Name, root Password, Disk Partition for Embedded Disk and Network Setting Information.
Embedded Disk Space is approximately 550GB. Please make sure to reserve 10GB or more at /.

Then, fill in the [ SAP HANA Information ] section. Click [ Review ].

Enter the version of your SAP HANA, of which version at the timing of installing, and other database’s basic setting information.
If you select “Multiple Container” for Database Mode, Tenant Database won’t be created.

Check the contents you entered at the Review application content screen, and click [ Apply ] if they are correct.
「申込内容確認」
At the Complete screen, confirm your application has been proceeded. Then, click [ Main Menu ].
Check an application confirmation email has been sent to your contact email address.

After Service Provider examines the contents in your application form and your operational environment, a notification email will be sent to your contact email account.
When the application contents are appropriate, the company will send an acceptance notification email and launch the service deployment.
In case there are any inappropriate description in your application form, the company will send you a resubmission request email. Please correct the contents and resubmit.

13.2.3. Necessary tasks performed by the customer after service launch

  • Activating the Red Hat Enterprise Linux license

  • Applying the SAP HANA license

With the OS license activation procedures provided in the following link, please implement your OS license activation.

13.2.3.2. Applying the SAP HANA license

The license provided at the beginning of the service launch is a temporal one.
Please make sure to apply the permanent license before the temporal license is expired.
