5.1.7. Enterprise Cloud 2.0 Inter-Connectivity

Important

  • Customers already use Enterprise Cloud 2.0 Firewall (Brocade 5600 vRouter) menu are able to use this menu.

  • Customers who are not using Firewall(Brocade 5600 vRouter) menu is not able to use this menu since we already decided to stop sales of firewall(Brocade 5600 vRouter) in Enterprise Cloud 2.0

  • Customers are able to establish connections between any Tenants using Enterprise Cloud 2.0.

  • Terms used in this tutorial are defined as below.
    • Connection Local: The connection under contract with Firewall (brocade 5600 vRouter). Service application for Enterprise Cloud 2.0 Inter-connectivity is put into effect.

    • Connection Destination: The connection under contract with Logical Network. Permission / Denial of service application for Enterprise Cloud 2.0 Inter-connectivity is specified.

5.1.7.1. Application for Enterprise Cloud 2.0 Inter-connectivity

Enterprise Cloud 2.0 Inter-connectivity application

  • On the control panel of the Connection Local's Customer Portal, click on {SD-Exchange} Category → {Between Tenants Connect} when applying.

  • Click on {Application for Between Tenants Connect}, and you will directed to the page as seen in the figure below.

  • Please enter information including Connection Local and Connection Destination here and select from the drop-down menu, then click on {Application for Between Tenants Connect} button to apply.

Customers are able to specify the Firewall for connectivity.

IP Address

Customers are able to specify the IP Address for connectivity.

 

Virtual IP Address

(Optional) Customers are able to set the Virtual IP Address that uses VRRP for redundancy.

  VRID

(Optional) Customers are able to set the VRID that uses VRRP for redundancy.

Connection Destination Information

Tenant ID

Customers are able to specify the ID of the Connection Destination. Connection Destinations with the same name or differing names can each be specified individually.

 

Network ID

Customers are able to specify the ID of the Destination Logical Network.

  • The status of the sent approval requests are displayed in the approval request column of the dashboard.

  • Click on {Approval Requests Outbox}, and you will be able to check the status of the sent approval requests.

Approval of Enterprise Cloud 2.0 Inter-connectivity

  • After {Application for Between Tenants Connect} is complete, the number of approval requests received is displayed in the {Approval Requests Inbox} of the Connection Destination's dashboard.

  • Click "List" to check the list of received permission requests.

  • Click on the appropriate {Request ID} in order to check the details of the receieved request information, then click {Approval} once confirmed.

  • A confirmation pop-up screen will appear regarding the approval of the approval request, click {OK} once confirmed.

Execution of Enterprise Cloud 2.0 Inter-connectivity

  • After {Approval of Between Tenants Connect} is complete, click {SD-Exchange} Category → {Between Tenants Connect} on the Connection Local's control panel.

  • Click on {Execute Between Tenants Connect}, and a pop-up screen will appear to confirm the selection, please click on {Execute Between Tenants Connect}.

Confirm Enterprise Cloud 2.0 Inter-connectivity

  • The Connection Local is able to confirm the status of Enterprise Cloud 2.0 Inter-connectivity from the list of Tenant Connection Requests. The ones that are already connected are displayed as {Executed} in the {progress} column.

  • The Connection Destination is able to confirm the status of Enterprise Cloud 2.0 Inter-connectivity from the list of Tenant Connection Requests. The ones that are already connected are displayed as {Executed} in the {progress} column.

5.1.7.2. Delete Enterprise Cloud 2.0 Inter-connectivity

  • On the control panel of the Connection Local's customer portal, click on {SD-Exchange} category → {Between Tenants Connect}.
