4.2. Image Sharing¶

Image Share Function allows any private Images, registered into an Image Storage, to share themselves with another Tenant within a same Region. By utilizing this function, you can create Resources with any Images, which a Tenant has under another contract.

Here’s how to duplicate them as below:

Tenant available to specify with Image Share Function requires its existence within a same Region.
If you would like to distribute Images into Tenants located in another Region, please use an Image copy function.

Also, you are noted that this is the Image Share function; therefore, once you have deleted any original image in the image-received (Image-shared) Tenant side, the deleted Image won’t not display at all.
Please refer to Image Storage Region Service Description, for more information.

4.2.1. Image Storage¶

Move to “Image Storage” from the Control Panel, then click “Create Image” at the lower place of the screen.

The Image Share function requires both operations in an Image sending Tenant and an Image receiving Tenant. First, execute the following operation at any Image-sending Tenant as described below:

4.2.2. Edit Image Share Member ( Operate in an Image-sending Tenant)¶

Execute [ Edit Image Share Member ] from [ Actions ] at a private image, which you would like to share.

After inputting an Tenant ID of an Image-received/Image-shared Tenant, click [ Edit Image Share Member ]. You can select any Tenants which you have access authentications under a same contract.

4.2.3. Accept an Additional Share Member Request (Operation at an Image-received/Image-shard Tenant)¶

After completing an additional Image Share Member at an Image-sending (Image-sharing) Tenant, execute

If at an Image-sharing(sending) Tenant any image share member is added, its notification won’t be send to an Image-shared(receiving) Tenant.
If necessary, re-execute to communicate an Image-sharing (sending) Tenant with an Image-shared (receiving) Tenant.
Even if you add a new Image Share Member at an Image-sharing (sending) Tenant, you need to accept at an Image-shared (receiving) Tenant to activate the Image Sharing with the new member.

By inputting an Image ID of a target Image-sharing Image, execute [ Accept Image Share Member Request ].
