10.1.4. Registration of Communication Settings for VRRP¶
Note
After registration of VRRP communication settings through this Customer Portal, Brocade 5600 vRouter needs to be logged in and VRRP settings need to be made.
In the case where, prior to registration of VRRP communication settings through this Customer Portal, Brocade 5600 vRouter has been logged in and VRRP settings have been made, Brocade 5600 vRouter needs to be restarted.
For the settings of Brocade 5600 vRouter, see ‘Brocade 5600 vRouter Configuration Guide <https://ecl.ntt.com/en/documents/tutorials/rsts/Firewall/vyatta/command.html>’_.
On the screen “Registration of VRRP communication settings”, register a VRRP virtual IP address and VRID (VRRP group ID).
Note
For the VRID (VRRP group ID), specify the value which does not duplicate in the same segment.
For each interface, communication settings can be made for only a single VRRP. Be careful that two or more VRRPs cannot run on the same interface.
When registration is executed, the set virtual IP address is shown on the “Firewall interface list” screen. When the status finally changes to “In operation”, it designates that the registration of VRRP communication settings is completed.
