8.1.1.1. How to Create a new vSphere ESXi Server

Once a new Logical Network has been created, configure a new vSphere ESXi Server (hereafter called Server* ).
From the left-side navigation at the Control Panel,
Select 1. Dedicated Hyper-Visor2. vSphere3. vSphere ESXi .
By clicking Start Server at the right-side screen,
To create a Server Creation screen, the following four tabs allow input the default settings.

Details

Create a Server Name being utilizing, a SPEC (Flavor), a Image, a Zone and a Group to set a Server.

Access and Security

Setting up an server admin-user password.

Network

Setting up the Network the Server belongs to and assign IP addresses. You need to create a new Logical Network in advance.

You can register metadata

Here you configure a host name upon a Server

Note

In the case of utilizing multiple servers, you can configure a Zone and a Group for the unknown-issue prevention.
About the concepts of both a Zone and a Group, please review Service Description Region / Zone/ Group.

Access and Security

Next, you can set up a Server-Admin Password.

Note

You are noted that the administrator password can’t be modified from this control panel after creating your the Server.
Set the password, created at random if you do NOT specify a password.
You can verify your created password solely at the popup message at a time of creation.
If you do not verify the created password, you are required to create another new server once again.
Security Tab

Network

Specify a Network and an IP Address belonging to a Server. Here you connect to two Logical Network and assign an IP Addresses to respective Logical Networks.

Configure the Metadata on the Baremetal Server. You can input these parameter in KEY=VALUE format.
