Linking IAM Group, IAM Role and User¶
When linking an IAM group and an IAM role, or assigning an IAM group and a user, operate from the "Edit" link of the assigned user and the "Edit" link of the assigned IAM role from the details screen of the IAM group to be linked.
Warning
The default group cannot edit the IAM role association. (The assigned user can be edited)
Linking IAM Group and User¶
Click the "Edit" link to access the Edit Assigned User page. By editing the assigned user, you can set the assignment of the IAM group and the user. When you have finished editing, click the "Save" button.
Warning
Administrator cannot be linked with any IAM Group other than Default Group.
Linking IAM Group and IAM Role¶
Click the "Edit" link to access the Edit Assigned Role page. By editing the assigned role, you can set the assignment of the IAM group and the IAM role. When you have finished editing, click the "Save" button.
Warning
Default Role cannot be linked with any IAM other than Default Group.
