About This Menu

  • Provides Official Image Template

    • Official image templates are provided for various operating systems available for bare metal server, virtual server, and dedicated hypervisor.

  • Provides Cloud Provider License

    • It provides the right to use the default provider license.

Features

  • On-Demand

    • It is possible to send applications for the official image templates of various OS via the Customer Portal or API.

  • Variety of choices

    • As follows, it is offered the official image templates of various OS that can flexibly meet customer demand.

    • Install the provider licensed OS

    • Free OS is available

    • It is possible the installation of the OS license that is owned by the customer (hereinafter BYOL).

Note

Official image templates available for each server / dedicated hypervisor are different. Please be careful.
Even if OS type is same, there may be differences in performance between versions. We recommend measuring the performance before using it.

This menu provides Customers with available Official Templates by installing Customers’ own Licensing.
This does not include Customers’ BYOL; i.e., Bring-Your-Own-License Private Image.
Furthermore, each and every OS has its own available service period and support coverage notes for Customers to read through. Please see the details in each menu’s Service Descriptions.
*2 BYOL is available if Customers would like to bring in their own image file.
*3 Please use Red Hat Enterprise Linux Official Image Template when using SAP supported RHEL environment in virtual machine on vSphere ESXi of dedicated hypervisor.
*4 Some flavor of baremetal server has OS and official image template which can not be used.

*5 vSphere ESXi 5 does not support Windows Server 2019.

Subscription Method

  • Customers are advised to refer to each menu’s Service Description for the respective “Subscriptions Method”.


Terms and Conditions of Use

Conditions for Usage with Other Services

  • Both menus can be used in combination with either a bare metal server, a virtual server, or each dedicated hypervisor.
    *Please check List of Menu in this service description and the service description of each menu to see which plan can be used on each server / dedicated hypervisor.

  • If Customers do not utilize other Services, some parts of functions are not available depending upon what menu Customers are utilizing. As with the details, Customers are recommended that they refer to each menu’s Service Description.


Minimum Use Period

  • Any of the above menu does not require a Minimum Use Period.


Pricing

Initial Fee

  • There is no initial fee for each OS menu.


Monthly Fees

  • Please refer to respective menu’s Service Description.


Quality of Service

Quality of Support

Corresponding Support Coverage

  • Bare metal servers created from official image templates, virtual servers, and servers on each dedicated hypervisor are eligible.

Support Coverage

  • In terms of support Coverage as with Official Image Template (Windows Server/RHEL) including Service Provider Licensing, Customers are recommended that they refer to each and every menu’s respective Service Descriptions.

  • Those OS that require no charges (such as CentOS / Rocky Linux / Ubuntu), and BYOL Official Image Templates which are assumed on-premises will be supported only for initial settings and the initial log-in for respective OS.


Quality of Operation

  • Quality of Operation in this menu corresponds to the regular Operations Quality that is standard for Enterprise Cloud 2.0 by NTTCom to provide any services.


SLA

  • SLA of this menu corresponds to the regular Operations Quality that is standard for Enterprise Cloud 2.0 by NTTCom to provide any services.


Restrictions

  • Customers are strictly restricted and forbidden from utilizing the service by having Virtual Server’s Image recreated to store in template, and saving this template in external platform environment that is not provided by NTT Com through utilizing Export Functions, and finally recreating a new Virtual Server based upon such process then activating such on the licensing products provided by NTT Com.

  • Exchanging OS images between bare metal servers, virtual servers and each dedicated hypervisor are prohibited.

  • As for the other restrictions Customers are advised to refer to each menu’s respective Service Descriptions.
