About This Menu

  • This menu provides the Official Image Template of CentOS, which is compliant with Baremetal Server, Virtual Server.

Server / Dedicated Hypervisor Available with CentOS

  • When Customers utilize CentOS with Server / Dedicated Hypervisor, following two ways are available: 1. To utilize Official Image Template; 2. To bring their own OS image.

  • Following is how Customers utilize CentOS with Server / Dedicated Hypervisor respectively.

Features

  • On-demand Customers can apply for CentOS templates on Baremetal server and Virtual server menu via ECL2.0 customer portal or API.

  • Free of Charge for Official Image Template
    Regardless of the server the customer uses, both initial and monthly charges are free.
    Baremetal server or Virtual server cost will be charged separately from OS template cost.

Initial Username Settings

The username of OS will be set default of this menu.

Password Settings for Default User

Initial Password is described in Initial Username and Password Settings section.

Locale Settings

Time Zone / Language / Character Code / Locale / Keyboard Sequence are set default.

Security Settings

The security settings(firewalld/SELinux) of OS will be set default of this menu.

SSH Settings

Parameters of sshd.conf are described in SSH Settings section.

Other Settings

OS Initial Status, Additional PKG, Repositories, Ipv6, NTP Server, DNS Server, and Default Gateways are respectively set.

Note

In CentOS 7.4 or later, if there is no change from the default setting of Protocol value, it is not displayed according to the OS specifications.

  • When Customers create Baremetal Server, they can create SSH key pairs, as well as they can utilize their existing ones. Maximum number of key pair per Tenent is 120.

  • Following is the methods for create/delete/register key pairs:

Terms and Conditions

Conditions for Usage with Other Menus

  • Customers are required to request for Subscriptions in combination with any of the two: Baremetal Server and / or Virtual Server.

  • In the event that Customers utilize NTP Server that is provided in this service, they will essentially be required to obtain the Common Function Gateway.
    If Customers would like to request such, they are suggested that they request for subscription.
  • In order for Customers to access to Repository they are required to separately subscribe Internet Connectivity Menu.


Minimum Contract Period

  • There is no minimum contract period.

  • This service does not require initial fee.

Monthly Fee

  • This service does not require initial fee.
    *However, the Customers’ concurrent Baremetal Server / Virtual Server Subscriptions separately require to be billed.
