2.4.3.1. About This Menu

Overview

  • This menu provides the Official Image Template of Core OS, which is compliant with Baremetal Server and Dedicated Hypervisor.


Core OS-Compliant Server / Dedicated Hypervisor

  • When Customers utilize Core OS with Server / Dedicated Hypervisor, following two ways are available: 1. To utilize Official Image Template; 2. To bring their own OS image

  • Following is how Customers utilize Core OS with Server / Dedicated Hypervisor respectively.

  • On-Demand Customers can request for Core OS Template with their subscriptions of Baremetal Server or Virtual Server via Customer Portal / API.

  • Free of Charge for Official Image Template
    Regardless of the server the customer uses, both initial and monthly charges are free.
    *However, Servers (Baremetal Server, Virtual Server etc.) are charged separately.

List of Functions

  • Following is the list of functions offered with Core OS Official Image Template:

Initial Username

OS Username is set default of this menu.

Initial Username and Password Settings

Initial login password for the OS username differs depending on the servers.

Locale Settings

Timezone / Language / Character code / Locale / Keyboard sequence are set default.

Security Settings

Security settings of OS (iptables/SELinux) are set default.

SSH Settings

The sshd.conf settings of OS differ depending on the servers or solution packeage.

Other Settings

Customers can set OS initial status, additional package, repository, Ipv6, NTP, DNS, and default gateway respectively.

*As for the functions such as OS installation, deletion, rebuild, replication will be described in the “Available Functions” of each server/solution package. Please refer to them for the details.

  • When Customers create Baremetal Server, they can create SSH key pairs, as well as they can utilize their existing ones. Maximum number of key pair per Tenent is 120.

Subscriptions Method

  • New Subscription
    Customer needs to designate following image template when they create servers.

  • Termination
    Customers can delete the subscription when they delete Baremetal Server created with Core OS official image template.

2.4.3.4. Terms and Conditions

Conditions for Usage with Other Services

  • Customers are required to subscribe Baremetal Server in combination with this menu.

  • In the event that Customers utilize NTP Server that is provided in this menu, they will essentially be required to obtain the Common Functions Gateways.
    If Customers would like to request such, they are suggested that they request for subscription.

Minimum Use Period

  • This service does not require Minimum Use Period.

2.4.3.5. Pricing

Initial Fee

  • This menu does not require initial fee.


Monthly Fee

  • This menu does not require monthly fee. *However, the Customers’ concurrent Baremetal Server subscriptions separately require to be billed.
