10.6. Hybrid Cloud with Microsoft Azure¶

10.6.1. Overview¶

The overview of Hybrid Cloud with Azure menu is as follows.

Subscription required to use Microsoft Azure Azure issue online via this menu.
It is possible to use the Microsoft Azure services using Azure subscription issued.
Usage of Microsoft Azure prices are combined with Enterprise Cloud 2.0 fees, will be charged.
Service Provider recommend customer to use Enterprise Cloud properly depending on customer’s purpose, and to use in combination.

Note

The services of Microsoft Azure services using by Azure subscription issued in this menu are limited.
For details, please refer to the section of the menu.
Service Provider is planning to expand available Microsoft Azure services from this menu.

Note

Only the customer who has corporate status in Japan can subscribe this menu.

Service Provider is planning to expand the country where customer can subscribe this menu.

10.6.2. Features¶

Features of the Hybrid Cloud with Azure menu is as follows.

Provide Azure subscription,	In this menu Service Provider provides Microsoft Azure subscription. It is possible to use the Microsoft Azure services using this subscription. The subscription is instantly issued on the Hybrid Cloud with Azure control panel. Service Provider will charge the usage of Microsoft Azure and Enterprise Cloud 2.0 fees.	By integrally providing a hybrid cloud environment of Enterprise Cloud 2.0 and Microsoft Azure, contract and accounting work is reduced.
We provide centralized support.	Service Provider provides technical support to the customer who applies advanced plan in Support. And Service Provider provides monitor or configure customer’s Azure environments to the customer who subscribe Global Managed One offered by Service Provider.	Customer can contact one support center and ask Enterprise Cloud 2.0 and Azure cloud environments.

10.6.3. Available Functions¶

10.6.3.1. List of Functions¶

Hybrid Cloud with Microsoft Azure menu provides following functions via Hybrid Cloud with Microsoft Azure control panel.

Items	Overview
Dashboard	Customers can check the links for various screens, Azure subscription status, and operation log overview.
Application of Azure suscription	You can request to Azure subscription available on this menu. Azure services are not available until activation.
Event Log Management	Customers can see the operation log of each user in this menu.
Downloading function of billing details	Customers can obtain the information of usage charges in csv file, by resource group and by resource unit in Azure subscription used in this month and last month. *

Note

There may be differences between information on csv file obtained with the downloading function of billing details and billing information on the Admin User screen of the Enterprise Cloud.

The overall charges will be the amount that can be checked on the Admin User screen of the Enterprise Cloud and can be used as an approximate figure.

10.6.3.2. Description of Functions¶

Application of Azure suscription¶

New Azure subscription will be issued. In addition, the process is different between when Customers create a new Azure AD Tenant and issue a subscription, and when Customers add a subscription to an Azure AD Tenant Customers already have.

When Customers create a new Azure AD Tenant and issue a subscription:

Take the following processes.

Domain name generation	In the Hybrid Cloud with Azure’s control panel, the domain name of Service Provider’s specification is assigned to be generated .	It is not possible to specify the domain name by the customer.
Customer registration	Make the customer registration in Azure.	The information input by customer will be registered as necessary information to launch Microsoft Azure.
Issue Subscription	Azure subscription will be issued.

When Customers add a subscription to an Azure AD Tenant Customers already have:

Take the following processes.

Issue Subscription to the specified AAD domain.	Azure subscription will be issued.	It is not possible to specify the domain name by the customer.

※When a series of processing is completed, the password to log in to the Azure portal in the “Event Log Management” screen is displayed.

Downloading function of billing details¶

In this menu, Customers can obtain the detailed information of usage charges of Azure used through the Azure subscription in last month and this month in csv file format. Please refer to API reference for available parameters.

Note

It may not be possible to download usage details due to maintenance etc of the cooperation destination system. In that case, the message “Could not collect usage. Please try again later.” will appear, so please wait for a while and try again.”

In such cases, Error message will be displayed. Please retry later.

10.6.4. Menu¶

10.6.4.1. Menu / Plan¶

10.6.4.2. Available Microsoft Azure services¶

Microsoft Azure services available by Azure subscription issued in this menu are those without No. of users base of Azure Active Directory and the like.

Customer can apply this from Hybrid Cloud with Microsoft control panel or API.

10.6.5. Terms And Conditions¶

10.6.5.1. Conditions for contractor¶

Customers are required to have corporate status.

10.6.5.2. Available Region¶

Customers can use any regions in Enterprise Cloud 2.0 and Azure.

10.6.5.3. Usage Conditions with Other Service Menus¶

In case of connect Microsoft Azure via NTT Com Arcstar Universal One, the contract of “Multi Cloud Connect for Microsoft Azure” is required.

10.6.5.4. Minimum Usage Period¶

This menu does not have a minimum use period.

10.6.6. Pricing¶

10.6.6.1. Initial Fee¶

The Hybrid Cloud with Azure menu’s initial cost is not required.

10.6.6.2. Monthly Fees¶

The fee of each plan in Hybrid Cloud with Azure menu is as follows.

10.6.7.1. Support Coverage¶

This menu provides support with following coverage:

Issues involving APIs provided in this menu, issues on the control panel, pricing and Azure subscription fall within the support coverage.
Customer who has advanced plan contract in Support menu can inquire to Service Provider regarding Microsoft Azure functions.

10.6.7.2. Operation¶

Operations of this menu are provided as following:

The maintenance and troubleshooting support of Hybrid Cloud with Microsoft Azure control panel are provided according to Service Descriptions Support to be defined separately.
Please refer to Azure Status for service status of each Azure menu.

10.6.7.3. SLA¶

The SLA of this menu is based on the standardized SLA for Enterprise Cloud 2.0; for the details please refer to the Service Description of SLA .
The SLA of Azure is based on the standardized SLA for Azure; for the details please refer to Service Level Agreement .

10.6.8. Restrictions¶

10.6.8.1. Common¶

The subscription is provided by Microsoft CSP program. Compared to procure directly from Microsoft on customers side, there are constraints. The main things are as follows.
- Only Azure Resource Manager(ARM) are available. Classic deployment is not available.
- Only some of BYOL(Bring your own license) items are available on Azure Market Place where provides Third Party Solution.
- Direct Support Menu(Developer, Standard, Professional Direct) provided by Microsoft is not available.
- Some Items such as Stor Simple (physical StorSimple device) are not available.
- Customer cannot check usage fee on Azure portal.
- Service Provider has owner role for Customer’s subscription. Customer is not allowed to delete this role.
When Customers use this menu, Customers have agreed to the Microsoft Cloud Agreement. For details, refer to “Customer Contract Template” linked to the Web site below.

In this menu, the available services on Microsoft Azure are limited. Please refer to “menu” chapter for available service. And it is prohibited that customer use other Azure services.

In case of connect Microsoft Azure via NTT Com Arcstar Universal One, the contract of “Multi Cloud Connect for Microsoft Azure” is required.

10.6.8.2. If Customers issue Azure subscription with creating a new Azure AD Tenant:¶

Azure tenant name (id.onmicrosoft.com) is assigned by Enterprise Cloud 2.0 automatically. It is not allowed customer to set Azure tenant name as customer likes.
The Subscription Name set to the subscription is Microsoft Azure.
The user name is fixed to admin for the account that is created first.
Administrator privileges on the subscription of the Azure are given to only the initial account with contributor permissions. You cannot give the administrator role to the account you added.
