2.1. Logging in the Customer Portal

Logging into Customer Portal will differ when using NTT Communications business portal and individual EC portals. For details on how to use business portals, please refer to the Usage Guide (General User’s version and Management version) from Help in the business portal site.

2.1.1. When using the business portal

1. When using the business portal for the first time with Enterprise Cloud
The business portal administrator will send an email message to the manager email address. Open the password registration page and register the account information beforehand.
2. When using the business portal for other services provided by our company
There will be no messages sent when you start using Enterprise Cloud. Please ask our business portal manager to create an Enterprise Cloud management account.
3. Access and log into the business portal site
4. Select Bix Hosting Enterprise Cloud from the list of cloud services.
You will see individual Enterprise Cloud portals.

2.1.2. When using the Enterprise Cloud Customer Portal

Following is the procedure for logging into the customer portal.
1. Input the URL of customer portal explained on the Service Opening Guide (https://cloud.portal.ntt.net/) into the browser in use (*).
* Please use Mozilla Firefox 45 or later. When using the console connection with plug-in, Mozilla Firefox 45.0-51.0(under 52.0 in ESR) operating on Windows is required.
* When operating Mozilla Firefox 30 or later, be sure to set “Always enable plug-in”.
2. Input login ID and password on the Login screen, and then click [1].

2. Change the password on the following screen if the password needs to be changed. After inputting the necessary parameters, click [2].

  • Number of characters -> 8 characters or more
  • Characters to be input: ASCII characters only
  • At least one number, upper case letter or lower case needs to be used.
  • Character string in which the same character is used for 3 times in a row
  • Account portion of the registered E-mail address cannot be used (the left side of @).
  • The last 4 passwords cannot be used again.

* The following usage conditions are applied for password.
Condition item Usage condition
Conditions regarding change of password
  • Password needs to be changed every 90 days.
  • The password needs to be changed after initial login or resetting the password.
Conditions regarding reset of password
  • Portal administrator can reset the password.

* The following usage conditions are applied on account of the customer portal.

Conditions regarding failure of login
  • If login fails for 5 times within 10 minutes, the password is suspended after 5th failure of login.
  • If suspension of password occurs, wait for 60 minutes and then log in again.
Conditions regarding automatic suspension
  • If login is not performed for 100 days, password is suspended.
Conditions regarding session timeout
  • Session timeout occurs if no operation is performed for 30 minutes.
* As an exception, if customers who are contracting the data center in Japan and Hong Kong for 15 minutes, session time-out occurs. However, if operations requiring a long time (when uploading or downloading a mass OVA file), session time-out does not occur in 15 minutes.
  • Log in again after timeout occurs.
* If you forgot your password, please follow instructions below.
1. Click [1] on the login screen.

2. After inputting your login ID, click [2]

3. You will be notified of the password that has been reset to the registered e-mail address.
Confirm the password, and then click [3], please back to login screen.

2.1.3. Displaying the Enterprise Cloud Screen

Following is the procedure for displaying the Manage Enterprise Cloud screen.
1. Place the cursor at [1] on the Menu and then click [2].

2. Confirm that the Manage Enterprise Cloud screen is displayed. The list of equipment subscribed by customer and status of each equipment can be checked.

* There are 2 patterns of status display as follows.
