We request you to prepare the following items according to use case before using ENTERPRISE CLOUD.

Following is the detailed description of items that need to be prepared before using EC.

  1. Operations from the Customer Portal
  • Customer’s terminal
    • Customer Portal operates on the browser. For OS, we recommend you using Windows OS.
    • For browser, we recommend using Mozilla Firefox 45 or later. When using the console connection with plug-in, Mozilla Firefox45.0-51.0(under 52.0 in ESR) operating on Windows is required. When using Mozilla Firefox30 or later, be sure to set “Always enable plug-in”.
  • Internet connection environment
    • Please prepare the environment for enabling the customer’s terminal to connect to Internet.
  • Service Opening Guide
    • Please prepare this guide because this guide provides information for logging into the Customer Portal.
  1. Operating the Virtual Server via Internet (SSH and RDP, etc.)
  • Internet connection environment
    • Please prepare the environment for enabling the customer’s terminal to connect to Internet.
  • Optional Internet connection service
    • Please apply for optional Internet connection service for establishing connection between vFirewall and Internet.
  1. Operating the Virtual Server via VPN (SSH and RDP, etc.)
  • VPN connection environment
    • Please prepare the environment for enabling the customer’s terminal to connect to VPN.
    • Only our Arcstar Universal One is available for VPN; therefore apply this service in advance.
  • Optional VPN connection service
    • Please apply for optional VPN connection service for connection between vFirewall and Internet.

1.1.1. Checking the Service Opening Guide

We provide the “Service Opening Guide” for subscribed customers.
This guide provides information for logging into the Customer Portal and contact information in case of emergency; therefore check this information.

vLoad Balancer vLoad Balancer Service This service provides the virtual dedicated load balancer function on the server segment.

The L2 segment function used for connecting the following 4 types of equipment.
Connecting devices: Virtual server, vFirewall, vLoad balancer, service interconnection gateway

Computing Resource (Dedicated Equipment) Service
Computing resource service is created by allocating resources from the computing resource pool and this service can be used as the virtual dedicated server.

This is the virtual server image created by copying the server. Virtual server can be created by using the template.

This is the area where is registered in advance and stored by the template used by anyone.
Private Catalog Private Catalog Service This is the area in which customer’s unique template can be stored.
Service Interconnection
Gateway
Service Interconnection Service This service provides the gateway for establishing L3 connection with other services provided by us.
On-premises Connection Gateway On-premises Connection Service This service provides the gateway for establishing L2 connection with customer’s on-premises environment.

1.1.2. About Procedure for Configuring the Initial Setting

This section explains the general procedure from the timing when the Opening Guide is delivered to the time when initial setting is completed upon start of use of Enterprise Cloud.
Procedure may vary depending on customer’s subscription status, etc.
