16.3. Administrating the Authority


16.3.1. Method for Setting the Global Portal Authority

The global portal authority needs to be set to enable the portal user to receive the notification relevant to this service. Method for setting the global portal authority is described.
* Only the portal user having the authority of the portal administrator can execute this operation.
1. Place the cursor at [1] on the Manage Enterprise Cloud screen and then click [2].

2. The Manage Portal User screen appears. Click the portal user name to which the global portal authority is granted.
(Click [3] because the portal user name to which the global portal authority will be granted this time is [example].)

3. The Manage screen for the portal user to whom the global portal authority is granted appears. Click [4].

4. The Edit Global Portal Authority screen appears. After editing the screen, click [5].

16.3.2. Setting “Reference”, “Edit” and “Alarms” Authorities

Following is an example of a method for setting “reference”, “edit” and “alarms” of vLoad balancer.
Set the function operation authority as required according to environment of customer.
1. Place the cursor at [1] on the Manage Enterprise Cloud screen and click [2].

2. The Manage User Group screen appears. Click the user group name whose authority will be changed.
(Click [3] because the user group to be edited this time is [test].)

3. The Manage screen for the user group whose authority setting will be changed appears. Click [4].

4. The Edit User Group Authority screen appears.
  • When granting the function operation authority to individual facility and equipment, put a check mark on any check box in the [b] area.
  • When granting the default function operation authority to each facility and equipment, put a check mark on any check box in the [c] area.
  • When granting the authority to each facility and equipment, put a check mark on any check box in the [a] area. If the check mark is placed on the check box, a check mark is automatically put into check boxes for facilities and equipment in the same area.

In this case, the reference authority is granted to all Compute Resource Pool. Following is the example where reference and edit authorities are granted by default.
Put a check mark on the check box [d1] at the top. If the check mark is put on the check box, the check mark is placed on the [d2] check box.
To grant the function operation authority by default, put a check mark on the check box [e1]. In this case, the check mark is put on the check box [e2].
5. After inputting the necessary parameters, click [5].

6. Confirm that the user group authority is edited.
