16.1. Administrating Portal Users


16.1.1. Referring the Portal User

There are 2 methods for referring the portal user.
a “The method in which the portal user having the portal administrator refers the setting information for all portal users”
b “The method in which the portal user refers the own setting information of the portal user”
Following is the procedure of the method (a) “the method in which the portal user having the portal administrator refers the setting information for all portal users”.
* Only the portal user having the authority of the portal administrator can execute this operation.
1. Place the cursor at [1] on the Manage Enterprise Cloud screen.

2. The Manage Portal User screen appears. Click the portal user to be referred.
(Click [3] because the portal user to be referred this time is [ExampleA].)

3. Confirm that information of the portal user to be referred is displayed.

Following is the procedure of the method (b) “the method in which the portal user refers the own setting information of the portal user”.
1. Place the cursor at [1] on the Manage Enterprise Cloud screen.

2. Confirm that own setting information is displayed and the portal user having the portal administrator authority is displayed at the bottom of the screen.

16.1.2. Adding the Portal User

Following is the procedure for adding a portal user.
* Only the portal user having the authority of the portal administrator can execute this operation.
1. Place the cursor at [1] on the Manage Enterprise Cloud screen and then click [2].

2. The Manage Portal User screen appears. Click [3].

3. After inputting the necessary parameters relevant to detailed information of the portal user, click [4].

16.1.3. Editing the Portal User

There are 2 methods for editing the portal user.
a “The method in which the portal user having the portal administrator edits the setting information for all portal users”
b “The method in which the portal user edits the own setting information of the portal user”
Following is the procedure of the method (a) “the method in which the portal user having the portal administrator edits the setting information for all portal users”.
* Only the portal user having the authority of the portal administrator can execute this operation.
* The portal user having the authority of the portal administrator can edit own setting information with the method (a) “the method in which the portal user having the portal administrator edits the setting information for all portal users”.
1. Place the cursor at [1] on the Manage Enterprise Cloud screen and then click [2].

2. The Manage Portal User screen appears. Click the portal user to be edited.
(Click [3] because the portal user to be edited this time is [ExampleA].)

* “Login” ID cannot be edited.

5. Confirm that the portal user is edited.

1. Place the cursor at [1] on the Manage Enterprise Cloud screen.

2. Own setting information is displayed and the portal user having the portal administrator authority is displayed at the bottom of the screen. Click [3].

3. The Edit Portal User screen appears. After inputting the necessary parameters, click [4].

4. Confirm that edition of the portal user is completed.

16.1.4. Suspending Usage of the Portal User

There are 2 methods for suspending usage of the portal user.
a “The method in which due date for use suspension is not specified”
b “The method in which due date for use suspension is specified”
* Only the portal user having the authority of the portal administrator can execute this operation.
1. Place the cursor at [1] on the Manage Enterprise Cloud screen and then click [2].

2. The Manage Portal User screen appears. Click the portal user to be suspended.
(Click [3] because the portal user to be suspended this time is [ExampleA].)

Following is the procedure for (a) “the method in which due date for use suspension is not specified”.
4. Leave the due date of use suspension blank and then click [5].

5. Confirm that status is changed to “stopped” and “-” appears for the due date of usage suspension.

  • Following is the procedure for (b) “the method in which due date for use suspension is specified”.
6. Set the duration for the target portal user to be suspended for the due date of use suspension. Click [6] to display the calendar. Date can be set by clicking the date.
After inputting the necessary parameters, click [7].

7. Confirm that status is changed to “stopped” and due date of use suspension.

16.1.5. Lifting Use Suspension of the Portal User

Following is the procedure for lifting use suspension of the portal user.
* Only the portal user having the authority of the portal administrator can execute this operation.
1. Place the cursor at [1] on the Manage Enterprise Cloud screen and then click [2].

16.1.6. Changing the Password of the Portal User

There are 2 methods for changing the password of the portal user.
a “The method in which the portal user having the portal administrator resets the password of the portal user”
b “The method in which the portal user changes own password”
Following is the procedure of (a) “The method in which the portal user having the portal administrator resets the password of the portal user”.
* Only the portal user having the authority of the portal administrator can execute this operation.
1. Place the cursor at [1] on the Manage Enterprise Cloud screen and then click [2].

2. The Manage Portal User screen appears. Click the portal user whose password will be changed.
(Click [3] because the portal user whose password will be changed this time is [ExampleA])

4. The screen confirming reset of password appears. Check the screen and then click [5].
New password will be sent to the E-mail address of the portal user whose setting is changed.

Following is the procedure of the method (b) “the method in which the portal user changes own password”.
1. Place the cursor at [1] on the Manage Enterprise Cloud screen.

2. Own setting information is displayed and the portal user having the portal administrator authority is displayed at the bottom of the screen. Click [2].

3. The Change Password screen appears. After inputting the new password, click [3].

16.1.7. Deleting the Portal User

Following is the procedure for deleting a portal user.
* Only the portal user having the authority of the portal administrator can execute this operation.

16.1.8. Enabling Two Factor Authentication

To enable Two Factor Authentication(TFA), please refer to the link below.
The term “administrative user” used in the link is synonymous with “the portal user having the portal administrator” in this page.
This procedure for enabling TFA is for customers using the Customer Portal, and not for customers logging in via the Business Portal.
