12.5.1. Reference to service objects

This describes the procedures in finding information on vFirewall service objects.
1. Click [1] on the Manage Virtual Firewallscreen (Filter Rules tab).

3. The service object settings will appear. Please check the below chart (information on Services tab) to the content of each item.

12.5.2. Adding Service Objects

This describes the procedures in adding vFirewall service objects.
1. Click [1] on the Manage Virtual Firewall screen (Filter Rules tab).

2. Click [2] on the Manage Virtual Firewall screen (Services tab).

3. Click [3] after the existing service object settings appear.

4. The additional vFirewall service object screen will appear. Click [4] after entering the required parameters.
* Please check the below chart (input rules on the Add Service Objects screen) for input rules on each item.

Item Input field Input contents Mandatory or Optional Input Conditions
a Text box Enter the identifier name in this service object Required Up to 40 characters, however, only enter one-byte characters.
b Text box Enter the port number and ICMP Type Required
For protocol TCP: one byte from 1 to 65535
For protocol ICMP: cannot enter
c Pull down Select the type of protocol Required None

This describes the procedures in editing the vFirewall service objects.

3. Click [3] after the existing service object settings appear.

This describes the procedures in deleting vFirewall service objects.
1. Click [1] on the Manage Virtual Firewall screen (Filter Rules tab).

3. Click [3] after the existing service object settings appear.

4. A warning screen will appear. Click [4] after checking the warning screen.

5. Click [5] after checking that the service object has been deleted.

6. The task management screen will appear. Click [6] after checking that the task status is ‘Complete’ and to finalize the procedure.
